PNNR C13 - Day centers in Vâlcelele Commune, Buzău County

The investment proposed by this project will result in the rehabilitation and equipping, by December 31, 2024, of a day center for children at risk of separation from their parents in the commune of Valcelele, Buzău County The centre will have the mission of preventing the separation of children from their families by providing daytime counselling, independent living skills development, educational and professional guidance, etc. for children, as well as support, counselling, education, etc. for parents. The services to be provided by the day center are complementary to the efforts of the child's own family, as arising from parental obligations and responsibilities, as well as to the services provided by educational institutions and other service providers, in accordance with the individual needs of the child in his or her socio-family context.

Value of state aid requested - 330,000 EURO

Beneficiaries

The target group for this project will be approximately 1,300 people, of whom about 8% are Roma, consisting of children attending day centers, their parents or other family members, specialists involved in activities with children, volunteers, leaders and experts from minority groups, as well as the majority population in the localities where the day center operates. The direct beneficiaries of the project will be more than 41 children at risk of separation from their parents.
